
Catherine Jane Ford was born on 5th December 1969. She is an English actor and comedian. Tate has won numerous awards for her performances on the BBC sketch comedy show The Catherine Tate Show (2004-2007) in addition to getting nominated for an International Emmy Award and seven BAFTAs. Tate was Donna Noble's character in Doctor Who's 2006 Christmas special. She then reprised the role and became the Tenth Doctor's companion on a regular basis in the fourth season of Doctor Who in 2008. [2] After The Catherine Tate Show's success, Tate played Joanie Taylor ("Nan") in the BBC One comedy series Catherine Tate's Nan (2009-2015), and in The Nan Movie (2022). Tate was cast in 2011 to play a recurring part in the role of Nellie Bertram on the U.S. edition of The Office. Tate played the character on a regular basis until the show's conclusion. Tate portrayed the role of Miss Sarah Postern (2013-2014), and Magica de Spell (2017-2021) in the BBC One sitcom Big School. Tate had six roles in Hard Cell, the Netflix comedy show she co-wrote and co-directed.
