Ashley Madekwe and Ashley Leggat

Madekwe is the daughter of the mixed race family of South London in England. Her father and mother have both been English. She was born and raised on a council estate south of London. At the age fourteen, she was enrolled at The Brit School. She studied acting in The Royal Academy of Dramatic Art, London. While attending the school was when she performed in various stage productions, such as King Henry V as Princess Katherine and Wuthering Heights as Catherine Earnshaw.
Madekwe started her acting career with the movie Storm Damage. In the following years, she appeared on Teachers, Doctors Casualty and Drop Dead Gorgeous. Madekwe's debut film appearance was Woody Allen's 2007 Cassandra's Dream opposite Colin Farrell, Ewan McGregor. Her popularity has led her to be cast in Elisha in a single-off BBC Three drama West 10 LDN pilot. She then appeared in six episodes Trexx & Flipside in the role of Ollie. In 2008 she landed Bambi's role on ITV2 Drama series Secret Diary of a Call Girl. She appeared in the series 2 and 3. Madekwe played the lead role on How to Lose Friends And Alienate Others, a comedy that was released in the year 2008. The credits she has in her theatre work include Little Sweet Thing by Roy Williams and Flight Path by David Watson.
Madekwe was chosen to play Ashley Davenport on ABC's drama The Beautiful Life. The two-episode series aired for just two weeks on The CW and then it came to an end. She was cast in February 2011, as Ashley Davenport on the ABC drama Revenge. The show premiered in May 2013 and it was announced that Madekwe who had been a series regular in the two previous seasons, was to leave the series following a guest appearance in the premier episode of the new season. She was Tituba in the TV series Salem between 2014 and 2016. Madekwe and her boyfriend for many years, Iddo Goldenberg, were wed in June of 2012. Both of them have been in Secret Diary of a Call Girl. They also played as partners in Salem.

Ashley Leggat, a twice Gemini nominated actress was born into a big family living in Hamilton, Ontario. The four brothers she had were also present including twins Todd & Bram, Brett & Rob. All of her brothers were athletic, and they played baseball as well as hockey throughout the summer and winter. Her childhood was spent in stadiums and played baseball. Ashley did not walk, but she danced, so at the age of just two years old, she took up Baby Ballet -and she fell in love. Ashley was addicted to dance since that time. Ashley participated in the top divisions in jazz, tap hip hop, ballet Acrobatics, Lyrical Musical Theatre and pointe, until she finished from high school. Ashley took home the best soloist prize at each major dance competition, including International Dance Challenge, Showstoppers 56-7-8 Showtime, Flash Dance, Dance, Dance, Dance and many more, just to mention a few.
