Aspen Ladd

Aspen Ladd was 14 when she began training in the combat sports. She began training in kickboxing boxing BJJ and wrestling before completing her amateur debut at age 18 at WCFC against Jaimee Nievera. Ladd continued to build on her triumph during Ultimate Reno Combat, where she won 3 consecutive bouts. She defeated all her opponents in the first round. In WCFC, Ladd defeated Leslie Rodriguez with a unanimous decision. Aspen beat Silvia B beghian and Maddy Simmons prior to facing Cynthia Calvillo. Cynthia beat Aspen as she beat her with a unanimous decision. Cynthia's amateur records were affected. Ladd recovered from this loss and defeated Roma Pawelek, taking her record to eight-one. Aspen began her career in the year 2015 when she signed to Invicta FC for her professional debut. Aspen fought Ana Carolina Vidal at Invicta FC 11 and dominated her to secure a first-round TKO. Invicta Combat Championships 16, She took her next bout in the fight against Amanda Cooper through a second-round Armbar submission. Aspen employed the strong techniques she learned from wrestling to defeat McGill. She ended the fight with a the TKO (3rd round) (elbows and punches). Aspen next faced Jessica Hoy (138.1lb at Invicta FC) as an "catchweight"(138.1lb) as Ladd did not make weight. Aspen, however, beat Hoy through TKO. As for her final fight for the promotion, she fought Sijara Eubanks via an unanimous decision in Invicta FC 21. Aspen Ladd competed in her UFC debut against Lina Ladsberg. She outclassed Lina with a combination of ground and pound. She won the TKO round later in the second. In her next fight, she overcame Tonya Evinger even more impressively. Ladd won the fight in round one and was awarded the performance of the Night Prize. Her first fight of note came during her subsequent fight at UFC Fight Night dos Anjos vs. Lee against Sijara Eubanks in an Invicta FC rematch. Ladd's victory was a unanimous decision as well as she was awarded the Fight of the Night award went to the two fighters. Ladd's first loss came in her next fight against Germaine de Randamie in Ladd's first UFC main event fight. Randamie ended Ladd's winning streak within 16 seconds. After a short break, she returned to finish Yana Kunizkaya during the UFC's ESPN 7 third-round fight. She fought Norma Dumont as a substitute during her final fight against the UFC in UFC Fight Night 195. She was defeated by a unanimous decision.
